Beyond The Realm is back! 💫 In the second edition of this festival, running September 26 to October 26, The Playwrights Realm is once again creating a radical space of experimentation to serve the needs of playwrights whose bold new works don’t fit the traditional play development model. Showcasing three very different pieces by L M Feldman, Aurora Real De Asua, and Jordan Ramirez Puckett, guided by unique perspectives of what can be done on a stage, Beyond The Realm is back at a time when it’s needed more than ever — are you ready to go beyond?
Theaterlab is thrilled to host the presentation of Jordan Ramirez Puckett’s Transitional Love Stories, directed by Ellie Heyman.
In this play, Alejandra and Daniel are ostensibly happy in their heterosexual, monogamous marriage — but doubts about the lives not led threaten to erode the status quo. Could different career, personal, and romantic choices have led to a better outcome? Transitional Love Stories invites audiences to follow different versions of each character to see which one can find the truest, happiest version of themselves.
