If you smoke a blunt with a stranger you met on the D train, what’s the worst that can happen? DUTCH MASTERS is Greg Keller’s two-actor drama about race, class, and the parallel lives of the humans of New York City. Two young men meet on the subway in 1992 in a chance encounter, and the afternoon takes them somewhere neither could have expected: they will discover both how close and how totally distant their lives are. This production was developed at Columbia University by MFA graduates Isaiah Brown, Eoghan O’Casey, and Calvin Atkinson.

MEET THE ARTISTS
Isaiah Brown hails from Virginia Beach Virginia. As an athlete, he played multiple sports in his early years and was a saxophonist in the Virginia State University Marching Trojan Explosion in undergrad. He decided to pursue acting during that journey which led him to grad school at Columbia University. While there, he was in works such as “An Octoroon” by Brandon Jacobs Jenkins, “Colored Museum” by George C. Wolfe, and “Julius Caesar” by William Shakespeare. He has just graduated and is thrilled to be co-producing this beautiful work with these phenomenal people.
Eoghan O’Casey is a NYC-based actor, writer, and musician. He is a recent graduate of Columbia’s MFA in Acting Program under James Calleri, Peter J. Fernandez, and Ron Van Lieu. He previously attended Temple University where he received a BA in Acting and a BS in Biology. Recent credits include Cicero/Cinna the Poet in “Julius Caesar,” Machinist/German Officer in “Passion Play,” and Mike in “Ivera.” www.eoghanocasey.com
Calvin Atkinson is a New York-based director, choreographer, stage combat coordinator, and theatre artist. He is currently serving as Associate Director of Anne Bogart’s production of CAROUSEL (Boston Lyric Opera, Austin Opera). Favorite past projects include Richard the Third, Rosencrantz… are Dead, Bat Boy: The Musical, and a modern reimagining of Jerome Kern’s 1921 musical, Sally.
