Meet the Crew:
Rose Kanj (Rose Kanj) is an NYC-based actress, vocalist and improviser. Her goal as an artist is to share stories from all walks of life in the hopes that her audience may learn we have more in common than we think. Through her work, she strives to empower others to be their most authentic and free selves. Rose is passionate about the art of storytelling and especially loves to collaborate on new works. When she isn’t writing, producing, and starring in her own cabaret, you can find her most Monday nights performing with Funny’s Improv (@funnysimprov) in the LES. She holds an MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School and a BA in Music from Berklee College of Music. Clara Tristan (Director) is a New York based actress. Born and raised in Panama City, Republic of Panama where she started her
training and career. Now, she is in New York and recently became a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio. New York credits include Sassafras and The Captain by Sarah Elizabeth Brown; The Future is Female by Nandita Shenoy. Among her film credits include The Unknown (TVN Series), The Retrievers (Adam Johns). She has received training worldwide with international figures such as Susan Aston, Tito Ochoa, Ted Gregory, Monalisa Arias and Esteban Roel; all in different techniques for film and stage. Her fascination with the work and creating stories has helped her realize that she has a director in her!

Wonhee Kim (Stage Manager), a South Korean native and New York-based actress and dancer, is dedicated to her craft. With an MFA in Acting from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School, she honed her skills in Method from the legacy of the renowned Lee Strasberg and underwent three years of Linklater voice training. Prior to that, she earned a BA in theater from the University of Toledo. Wonhee actively shares her expertise through workshops for professional actors in both Korea and New York. Recently, she produced and starred in her first short film, “6 o’clock,” set to make a lasting impact. Her credits include The Heaviest Burden (Samuel French OOB Festival.2023), New Year’s day (El Barrio’s Artspace, NYC), Wu Wei on the table (Yangtze Rep Theater, NYC), Source of the Odour (Busan Film Festival), 2m (Incheon Film festival, Korea), The Palace (The Festival of Women directors, Seoul), Dancing with the city (Seoul International Dance Festival, Korea) and more. www.wonheekim.org
Whitney Wallace (Pianist) is a pianist, music educator and entrepreneur in NYC. She enjoys collaborating with fellow musicians, actors and dancers in a range of musical styles and venues. Through her music collective: In The Pocket NYC, Whitney enjoys bringing music to her students and the community. Whitney is a proud alumna of Carnegie Mellon University and resident of Hell’s Kitchen. Whitney enjoys frequent living room sing-alongs with her husband and two young children.
E.M. Lark (Dramaturge) is a playwright/dramaturg from, and currently based in, southern California. With their theatrical education and experience in developing original works, they aim to help create an ideal story alongside the cabaret company. MFA in Playwriting: Actors Studio Drama School, 2021; BA in Theatre Arts (Acting): CSU San Bernardino, 2018.
